About Us

Social Commerce, a San Francisco Bay Area–based company, is a dba of Talreja Enterprises, Inc.

We use social media to drive e-commerce. We have more than 150,000 followers on multiple product- or domain-specific Facebook pages, Twitter accounts, Pinterest, blogs, and mailing lists.

We utilize these social media resources to sell and market  our and our clients' products via Amazon and eBay marketplaces, as well as provide marketing services to various clients:
  • Physical product units sold through our channels every week: 800 to 2,000 
  • Digital goods (including e-books) downloads every week: 5,000 to 8,000 
  • Number of marketing services customers: 1,500

Are you intelligent, creative, and ambitious? Do you have big dreams and can't wait to start taking concrete steps toward them?

Do you have a knack for making a lot of friends and keeping them enraptured by what you have to say? Do you enjoy learning new things? Do you love to share new learnings with others?

If you answered yes to all these questions, you may be the intern we're looking for.

OPPORTUNITY

We want somebody to train in building and managing multiple social media channels for the purpose of marketing our group of businesses' products, services, websites, and advocacies to mass and niche markets.

We're sure you'll learn more marketable work skills in a day with us than you'll learn in a whole semester of lectures in any classroom. The question is, Can you handle it?

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Manage various Facebook pages, Twitter accounts, and LinkedIn groups. (If you're seriously thinking about advancing in your career, you've got to master LinkedIn more than Instagram.) 
  • Schedule, write, and post engaging content to various channels following an editorial calendar. 
  • Respond to public comments and private messages.  
REQUIREMENTS
  • Pursuing/holding a bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, English, or related fields. 
  • Ability to write clear, concise, accurate, and engaging articles with little or no need for external copy editing.
  • An intuitive sense of what attractive and shareable.
  • An agile brain that learns quickly and is able to synthesize new knowledge into original and creative ideas.
  • Familiarity with Facebook’s Business Manager, Custom Audiences, Power Editor, and Audience Insights tools is an advantage.
